A Force Knott to be Reckoned With
Following his success in the Regional Crown Green Bowls Trophy, Andy Knott went on to represent CSSC Wales at the National Open Individual Finals.
A victory over Dusia Price stood him in good stead for the tournament, which took place at the Waterloo in Blackpool on Thursday 20 September.
Andy, of HMRC Wrexham, didn't let his region down either. After bwoling well all day, he made his way through to the semi-finals before narrowly losing 16-21 to eventual winner Darren Lord.
In reaching the last four of the Nationals he was chosen to represent CSSC at the Federation's Championships at Halifax, where he was eliminated in the early stages of the competition.
For his sterling efforts, Andy was presented with the Welsh Regional cup, a CSSC cap and a prize voucher by BCGBA President, Brian Chamberlain, on finals day.
