CSSC Wales Coarse Angling Regional Qualifier Results 2010

Twelve anglers competed in this year’s event which was held at Lilley Pool Ledbury for the first time.

The venue is normally a prolific one but it proved quite hard on the day for many of the anglers with the fish shoaled up tightly. Top weight was 64lb 8oz of mainly large carp caught by Richard Hagg who was very pleased to win the final for the first time. Richard used a method feeder with pellets to catch the majority of his fish.

Dave Gough was second with 58lb 14oz, and Andrew Duckers coming in third with 40lb 5oz.
The first six anglers who will form the team to represent CSSC Wales at the UK national final in September are:

Richard Hagg – 64lb 8oz
Dave Gough – 58lb 14oz
Andrew Duckers – 40lb 5oz
Jim Palmer – 29lb 12oz
Ian Huddlestone – 22lb 6oz
Ian Carr - 28lb 12oz.
