Jill Gouge receives STARR Award
Jill writes: 'I work in the JCP Contact Centre, Bridgend. At the Centre there is a Wellbeing at Work Committee, which provides initiatives and activities for the wellbeing of staff working there. During the year the Committee came up with lots of ideas for raising awareness regarding health matters, but primarily for staff to have some fun during their working day. The Centre was also entered for a Welsh Assembly Award. I am a member of the Wellbeing Committee, primarily as an officer of CSSC, Bridgend Area. The activities, offers and events CSSC Bridgend has to offer were incorporated into the work of the Wellbeing activities for staff, particularly sponsoring a 5-ASide football team. As a result of my participation on the Committee, I received an 'in house' STARR award (STARR standing for Special Thanks Award to Reward and Recognise).'
Congratulations Jill!
