Southern Region Golf Day - 14 July 2011

Whether it was the inspiration of the British Open starting on the same day, but 39 CSSC Southern members took their chances to win the Area qualifier at Alresford Golf Club
on July 14^th.

Alresford is a parkland course and was in very good condition with interesting greens that were fast! The day was sunny with just a gentle breeze. Just right to record a good score!

 With a 2 tee start, all players were playing the course within 35 minutes of the first group going out. It was interesting to see how people were getting on the way round, as some holes were close to each other.

When the scores started to come in, it became obvious the course was a bit trickier than first appearances made it look, and bit back with some players!

Congratulations go to all the winners below and placed players. Good luck to them all in the grand final.
