| Annual General Meeting |
The AGM will take place on Tuesday 15 March 2011, at 6.00pm in the Cosham Baptist Church hall, Havant Road, Cosham, Portsmouth. Following the AGM, there will be the monthly meeting of the newly elected CSSC Area Association.
Entry is by showing of a valid Purple CSSC Membership card, and all attending members will be entered into a draw to win 2 x Corporate hospitality tickets to a forthcoming Portsmouth FC football match, as well as receiving 2 x cinema tickets at the conclusion of business. |
| Cricket |
This year Portsmouth CSSC Cricket team are looking for new players of all abilities and standards to play in a Midweek Friendly Summer league, totalling 16 games.
All playing equipment is supplied, and pitches paid for, with net practice starting on Sunday 16 April at PGS, High St, Old Portsmouth. Free parking on site.
The net practice is an opportunity to get back into training, or re-awaken your inner cricketing ability.

Curry & Quiz Night |
Following a request by a Civil Service department, the Portsmouth AA are looking at holding a departmental Quiz night in the spring. Departments will be invited to put forward their teams to compete for the title of the most knowledgeable. Details to follow. |
| Theatre Trip |
Tickets for a Theatre performance of "We will Rock you" at the Mayflower are currently being identified with a view to offering members discounted set prices. |

Chessington |
It's hoped to run a discounted coach trip to Chessington. This will be an all inclusive ticket, incorporating the travel & entry fee at a discounted rate for members & their families. |

We are about to confirm the purchase of 4 x 2 tickets for the Rugby Union Aviva Premiership final on 28 May 2011 for a members free prize draw. |

Brewery Trip |
We hope to run a trip to a local brewery in the summer, with members entitled to a subsidised entry fee. More details to follow. |
| Coaching |
The CSSC regional council have indicated that they would be willing to sponsor any member who wishes to attain an entry level coaching or referees course in most chosen sports.

Cinema tickets |
All Cinema tickets will cost £4.00 from 1st March, with each member entitled to 8 per month.
The Portsmouth Area Association website is now up & running and gives details of Cinema tickets and other offers available to members.
