The first ever Chiltern Christmas Draw took place on Monday 7 December. Congratulations to all the lucky winners, who were:
1st: Kim Clark, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Apple iPhone
Kim said: "When I came back from a day's leave and found a voicemail message asking me to phone Jennifer from CSSC, I did wonder what I had done wrong! However, it was a much more exciting call than that as Jennifer explained that I had won first prize in the Chiltern Area Christmas Draw and that I was now the proud owner of an iPhone!
"After picking myself up off the floor, I gleefully started to share the news around. My two daughters both thought it would make an ideal Christmas present for them and colleagues who had also entered the draw thought they should have been the winners. But, following Jennifer and Sharon's visit today to present me with the phone, I am now off to spend the evening playing - sorry - getting to know the technology involved in my new toy! Thank you Chiltern Area!"
2nd: Jacky Hamilton, National School of Government, Wii console
3rd: Craig Nicol, MoD Bicester, DVD camcorder
4th: Eddie Bailey, CSSC, Nintendo DS
5th: Christine Price, MoD RAF Halton, digital camera
6th: Matthew Taylor, CSSC, £50 Love2Shop vouchers
It's fair to say that they were all stunned and delighted to hear the great news.
