Darts Report - Barbados '09

 

It was very hot when we went to the police club to play darts. There were two of us chaps from the Southwest and two ladies from the South. It was very hot, but we met with the Barbados players and decided on the format of the game.

 

As it was very hot, we decided to play singles and pairs for the ladies, then singles and pairs for the men and a four-a-side to finish off.

 

When we started the game, it was very hot but the ladies made a gallant effort, winning one single, but losing the pairs. We were 2-1 down. It was very hot when the men started, but we made a brave challenge as well and won one single and then won the pairs. Now it was 3-3. All square with one to play!  

 

Just the four a side to go and it was very hot. It went to leg and leg! One leg to go and it was very hot. In the last leg, the home side really came into their own and deserved their win, but we made a game of it, losing to the better side on the night 4-3.

 

Did I mention it was very hot?
