South West Badminton Tournament Results 2011

The South West Badminton Tournament was held on 29th November at the Taunton Blackbrook Pavillion, Somerset.

There was a marked increase in participation on the 2010 tournament with organiser, Rachel Irish (new in 2010) getting into her stride to make this a great event.

The winners were as follows:
Men's singles - Nigel Braunton
Ladies Doubles - Lorna Riggs and Rachel Irish
Men's Doubles - Jeremy Pocock and Paul Fry
Mixed Doubles - Marguerite Butt and Pete Bazin.

Many thanks also go to Paul Fry who assisted Rachel on the day to ensure that the playing schedules were met.

The winners of the level doubles have been invited to attend the CSSC Open Tournament in February (all expenses paid) to represent the region.
