Plymouth Area Theatre Ticket Subsidy Scheme

As of Wednesday 1 September 2010, the Plymouth Area Association are offering the following subsidy for theatre shows locally and nationally.

For all theatre shows within the Plymouth Area Association boundary, a refund of 25% of the ticket cost will be given i.a.w. the subsidy information below. This includes theatres in Plymouth, Saltash, Tavistock, Torpoint and Oakhampton. It also includes shows at the Plymouth Pavilions.

For theatre shows nationally, outside the Plymouth Area boundary, a refund of 15% of the ticket cost will be given i.a.w. the subsidy information below.

The subsidy will not apply to ‘pop concerts’ or rock festivals such as Glastonbury, Nebworth or the NEC. The Area Committee reserve the right to decide which events should receive a subsidy.

Subsidy Information: On receipt of returned ticket stubs the Area will refund 25%/15% of the ticket cost for a CSSC member plus one other adult. For a children’s show the Area will also give a 25%/15% refund for up to two children’s tickets.

Please include the following information and enclosures on the Plymouth Theatre Ticket Subsidy Form that can be downloaded opposite.

Your name and address.
A contact telephone no.
Your e-mail address if applicable (to add to our database).
Your CSSC Membership number.
The purchased ticket stubs.
A stamped addressed envelope for the return of the subsidy cheque.

Members are limited to 1 application per month.

Members must apply for rebate within one month of using ticket.
