CONTINUED SUPPORT TO MEMBERS

In the run up to the 30 April the Gloucester Area Committee will continue to provide the same level of financial support to all members of the Area wishing assistance to enter regional and national competitions.

The Treasurer is authorised to pay up to £25 per individual - any claims over £25 have to be approved by the Area Committee which meets once a month.

You can claim 22p per mile plus 5p per mile per passenger plus support towards the entrance fee.

Your claim should include details of the event (what the event was, date of the event, where it occurred), your name & membership no and the mileage you are claiming. The name & membership no of any passengers. The entrance fee to the competition and the amount you wish to claim.

PAVILION HIRINGS

If you have a birthday coming up, or you are celebrating an early retirement, why not hire the Pavilion for a function.

The Function Hall is fully licensed for up to 150 people and is available for hire for either £100.00 for an all day event or £60.00 for an evening event. The Lounge is also available for up to 80 people,

RUGBY VETERANS GAME

Unfortunately the Veterans game due to be played at the Club on Sunday 28 November against the Combination Veterans had to be postponed because of the frozen state of the pitch. It is hoped to rearrange the match for some time in April.

WINTER SQUASH

The winter league has now started and the Club continues to run two teams in the local leagues, Division 1 and Division 2.

TABLE TENNIS

The Club Table Tennis Section runs one team in Division 3 of the city league whose home nights are on a Tuesday

Sky Television continues to be available in the Lounge Bar on a large screen, thanks to a deal organised through the RFU at a very reasonable price.
