Bournemouth AA is pleased to announce that it will be running a trial that will offer members the chance to make up a foursome at the Iford Golf Course and enjoy big discounts on green fees. Members can take advantage of this limited offer by contacting cssc@hotmail.co.uk to register their interest in enjoying a round of golf for as little as £10. Subject to available places each member can bring one non member as a guest. The cost for a non member will be £17.50.
On Friday 4 February CSSC Bournemouth AA will be holding a fun games night at Winton Conservative Club. We invite all our members to come and pit their wits playing games such as Jenga, Table Skittles, Jumping Frogs and others. This is free to enter for all, and we will provide a free supper for those that attend. To confirm attendance, please contact cssc@hotmail.co.uk.
On Saturday 22 January 2011, we will be taking a coach to The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show. This is taking place in Esher, Surrey.
For members who enjoy Sewing, Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, Stitch Craft, Quilting, etc. this is a day not to be missed. You will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations, take part in workshops and buy supplies and accessories.
We will be combining this trip with a visit to the Brooklands Museum at Weybridge. Brooklands was the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed in 1907. Brooklands was also the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout eight decades of the 20th century.The trip will give you the chance to take in the atmosphere that reveals the secrets of Brooklands - the place where the great British adventure in speed and altitude all began. The Museum displays a wide range of Brooklands-related motoring and aviation exhibits ranging from giant racing cars, motorcycles and bicycles to an unparalleled collection of Hawker and Vickers/ BAC-built aircraft, including the Second World War Wellington Bomber, Viking, Varsity, Viscount, Vanguard VC10, BAC One-Eleven and the only Concorde with public access in South East England. The coach will leave Poole Lighthouse at 8am, picking up at the Bournemouth Travel Interchange at 8:20am. The coach will drop off those wishing to visit Brooklands, before proceeding on to the craft show. The coach will return at approximately 4pm. The prices for the craft show and museum will include return coach travel as well as entry to the attraction, and will be as follows:

When booking places please let us know your: name, membership number, contact number, where you will be joining the coach and the names of guests if applicable.
We would still like to hear from any members interested in Surfing lessons - especially as the weather has been so nice - as well as those interested in a day walking, or a day sea fishing. We would like to organise events around these activities should there be sufficient numbers interested to do so. Again, please get in touch if you are interested.
