Barbados Challenge Rounders Results

The Barbados Challenge South West Rounders Competition took place on 23 August 2008 at Bristol Civil Service Club, Filton.

Given the wretched wet weather experienced in recent weeks all involved were most fortunate to play on a pleasant dry day and to find the playing surface in such fine condition.

The competition had 5 Teams in it, from all over the South West.

The Competition was run on a 'Round Robin' basis giving each Team 4 matches on the day.

All 5 teams played with great spirit and sportsmanship and a great atmosphere prevailed throughout the day.

In the end it was the Plymouth Team led by Rachel Cain who prevailed, winning all of their matches and congratulations to them all for becoming South West Champions and qualifying for Barbados 2009.
