The Badminton Section is based at the Civil Service Clubhouse, Harrow Lane, Hastings. The section caters for two types of players. Social players are able to book the on-site court for a small hourly fee. Booking is via a sheet located on the notice board in the hall and at least one player present must be a member of the CSSC. The court is available weekdays up to 7pm and at certain times at the weekend.

The club has one men’s team which is entered in Division 1 of the Hastings & District league and also in the Eastbourne league and who are currently unbeaten in the 2010/11 season. The section has use of the sports hall on Tuesday evenings for either matches or for club nights from 7.30pm. Club nights are predominately attended by league players with the format being half court singles to maximise the use of the one court.
