| Hastings Area Association of CSSC Badminton Section Report 2009 The Badminton Section continues to make full use of the court facilities at the clubhouse. The majority of weekday slots between 4pm and 7pm are utilised by groups of social players and Tuesday evenings are used by the league players for home matches and club nights. The section has a Men's team entered in the local leagues and they had a very good 2008/09 season winning both the Men's Division 1 of the Hastings & District Badminton League and Men's Division 1 of the Eastbourne & District league. Currently, we are in the "closed" season for badminton so team players are using the Tuesday evening club nights to play half court singles in order to maintain fitness during the summer.
