Scottish Inter Area Challenge 2010

The word for the day was FUN and that's what everyone had at the Scottish inter-area challenge, held at Rosyth club on Friday 20 August 2010.

It all started at 13.00pm and the fifty eight members were set up as seven teams of eight players to take part in the sports of the day.
Games master Mr George Churchill had set the course out and was not going easy on the contestants; it was going to be a tough competition playing:

Darts
Dominoes
skittles
Putting
Penalty shoot out
Curling
Hoopla
French boules
Table top skittles

As you can see from the sports above it became much harder after a few visits to the bar, with the great hospitality laid on by the Rosyth club staff and committee, not forgetting that everyone was well fed by master chef Anne Young.
After all the points were added up, the cup was presented to the winning team Perth area, a fine body of sports men and woman.
The best dressed team had to be Paisley area. Big thanks go to all the organizers George C, Francis S and Anne Y. Great day team! Also a big thanks to Rosyth area club yet again; great club, great staff.
Lastly, thank you has to go to all the members as you all made it a special day.
