Rosyth CSSC member, Alan Durham, has been awarded the Rosyth Citizen of the Year Award 2009. Alan received his award from former Dunfermline Athletic manager, Jim Leishman on 1 December 2009.
Alan was a clear winner of the award after receiving a number of nominations. Alan has been involved with running youth football for over 30 years, forming life-long friendships with the hundreds of boys that have played for his teams. Alan is special in himself making sure every boy is treated the same, irrespective of their background or circumstances. Alan is also on the committee of the Rosyth Area Association and can be found regularly walking the grounds of the Rosyth Civil Service Sports Club.
