Rosyth Area has honoured two volunteers, George Churchill and John Buchannan, for the time they have spent on Rosyth Club and Area Committees.
The volunteers were surprised at a show in the Rosyth Club when Chairman Mike Cook and Scotland BDE Francis Smith presented George and John with watches and the Douglas Haddow Trophy for outstanding achievement, only presented 10 times in the Rosyth area since 1976!
Both volunteers will be missed dearly from the committees which they have sat; George for the past 28 years and John for around 15 years. The commitment to CSSC from both men has been fantastic and they will continue to support the new committee when the knowledge is required.
The Rosyth committee again extend the thanks for the hard work John and George conducted.
