Dot Receives Recognition

Dot Hawkins was one of seven volunteers to be awarded with a Certificate of Recognition at the 2007 North West Regional Conference.

Due to her invaluable contribution to the Merseyside AA, Dot became part of a landmark group of CSSC members to receive the accolade - the first ever to have been handed out in the Region.

Dot's excellent contribution as Regional Executive was also an influential factor in the decision.

Elsewhere Brenda Owen (Ladies Golf), Nick Hume (Athletics), Anne Wignall (Blackburn & Burnely AA) and Alan Grafton (Darts) were amongst the recognition party.

The awards were presented by Brian Glicksman, CSSC's National Honorary Treasurer and North West conference guest.
