Regional Finance Co-ordinator

We are looking for someone:

o Able to create reports. charts and documents and able to communicate financial information to a wide ranging audience

And who preferably has experience of:

o networking with relevant partners;

o CSSC;

o Working with figures, accounts and spreadsheets.

 

They will be responsible to:

o The NW Management Board, and

o CSSC's Management Board (who appoint this position).

 

They will be responsible for:

Management of the Regional Grant and working with the Finance committee to:

  • Maintaining an up to date and accurate record of all Regional financial transactions. Provide assurance and oversight of the NW region's finances, including ensuring that effective governance and accounting processes are in place;
  • Ensuring value for money;
  • That financial transactions are undertaken with propriety and in accordance with the laws and CSSC objectives;
  • Promote, support and improve financial awareness in the NW;
  • Seek sponsorship and consider other income streams;
  • Oversee the preparation of end of year accounts and the preparation of budgets;
  • Devise, implement and oversee a Policy on regional subsidies for National Events;
  • Provide support for AA treasurers;
  • Liaison with other committees as necessary.

Other information

This role is likely to take (on average) up to 4 hours per week. There will be support available from the other Regional Officers, members of the NW Management Board, the Regional Business Development Executive (BDE) and CSSC's Volunteer Development Manager, Hedley Featherstone. There will be the opportunity to 'buddy' with other volunteers.

Out of pocket expenses in accordance with CSSC policy will be met.
