Ladies win the title on Valentine's Day!

The Indoor Bowls Pairs competition was held at Newton
Hall, Blackpool on Sunday 14 February 2010.

Six pairs competed in a closely fought competition. The third game was particularly important because, at that stage, the competition could have been won by any one of four of the pairs.

The final winners were Jacquie Lord and Mary Wrench and the runners up were Heather Walsh and Alan Turner.

It was a good day with all the competitors enjoying the bowling.

The winners will be invited to represent the North West Region at the CSSC Indoor Bowls National Finals in York in April.

Provisional bookings have already been made at the venue for the 2011 events -
Fours on 29 January and Pairs on 26 February.
