CSSC Beach Volleyball

The Greater Manchester/Northwest volleyball teams took part in the CSSC National Beach volleyball tournament which took place on the 19 of May 2011 in Brighton. I am pleased to say that our men’s first team did well and won 3 out of the five games played. The mix team of two ladies and two men went up to the semi final and were only narrowly beaten. The men’s second team unfortunately did not win any matches.
I was not able to put a full female team out due to numbers interested in taking part, those who took part did well.
It was an interesting one day event which we enjoyed both on and off the pitch.
