Chester Area Volunteer for 30 years!

We could not let is pass without mentioning that Marjorie Owen from the Chester Area has this year served as a volunteer on the Chester Area for over 30 years.

It is fair to say that in that time Marjorie has been heavily involved in the local committee, but also has attended many of the Regional meetings and conferences, making sure that members of the area are fully aware with the latest news regarding CSSC.

I also think it’s fair to say, and this is an opinion felt by the current committee, that had it not been for Marjorie’s enthusiasm and determination to make sure that events and trips kept on being organised that the committee could have possibly folded a good few years ago.

I would therefore like to pass on my personal thanks along with those of the Area, the North West Region, and I’m sure everyone at CSSC Head Office to someone who is a shining example of a CSSC Volunteer.
