Event Description

Meet at the Langdon Beck Hotel

Walk will be 8 miles in length, round journey.

Return to the Langdon Beck Hotel for lunch.

Meal booked for 3.00
Closing date is 22/10/08.

Drinks are at your own expense

Peter Morris advises that the walk will not be too strenuous and anyone with a little walking experience will be able to do it.
Walk is over high moorland with a couple of boundary sections and a short scramble.


Directions

From Darlington take A67 to Barnard Castle. Then the B6277 to Middleton in Teesdale, continue to on the B6277(signposted alston).
Langdon Beck Hotel is on the left 2 miles past high force.
Park in the lane on the left just before the hotel. Signposted cow green reservoir
