Event Description Durham Wildlife Trust is a registered charity and one of the most active environmental organisations in the region. It protects wildlife and promotes nature conservation in County Durham, the City of Sunderland and the Boroughs of Gateshead, South Tyneside and Darlington.
You are cordially invited to join us for a Golf Day on Friday 31st July at Whickham Golf Club. The event is an opportunity to network, have a great golfing day and compete for prizes as well as support Durham Wildlife Trust.
Our host Whickham Golf Club has excellent facilities and, according to Paul Corney of Golf North East “has to be one of the most attractive courses in the North of England”. Please find leaflet enclosed.
Format of the Day
We would ask each organisation to be represented by a four man team of golfers.
The competition will be a four ball team Stableford event with members playing with their chosen guests. Handicap allowance will be 3/4 handicap, with a maximum allowance of 28.
The order of the day will be to meet for a light lunch prior to teeing off. The tee is booked from 12.30p.m. Play will be followed by a two course meal in the clubhouse.
We anticipate all players gathering together for a presentation of prizes before a group photograph at approximately 7.30- 8.00 pm. The fully inclusive cost is £70.00 per player.
