Event Description

All abilities welcome for an ACE day on the courts!

CSSC North East will be holding a Regional tennis competition for its members.

Date: Thursday 24 September At: Northumberland Tennis Club in Jesmond near Newcastle.
Closing date for entries: Tuesday 15 September.

We've got the use of all weather courts. You don't need to be any kind of club player to take part and the main aim is for everyone to have a fun afternoon out and also get some healthy exercise!

There'll be Men's and Ladies' Singles and Doubles as well as Mixed doubles events. You can, if you wish, state your partners for the Doubles when submitting your entries. Alternatively, wherever possible, partners will be arranged for you.

The tournament will be arranged to give everyone as many games as possible in the time available, most probably by having plate events to run alongside the main ones.

Entry fee: £5.00 (collected on the day, so please don’t forget to bring some money with you!)

The entry fee covers all your tennis for the afternoon and you could also win a star prize at the end.

For anyone who hasn't been to The Northumberland Club before, it has its own car park and a bar/lounge area overlooking the courts at which refreshments can be obtained. If you need directions on how to get there, please let Mike Turton know. (Contact details below.)
