To start this year we have a Quiz night on 22 March 2012, including the AGM, I am looking forward to
meeting you, the members, and listening to the ideas you have to improve and expand in 2012,
the year of the Olympics.
This year the papers and television will be full of sport, and many people will be inspired by the Olympics. Why not take advantage of the sports buzz and make this the year you do something for your sport, you will never have a better opportunity to expand your membership numbers.
If you would like to try a new sport or leisure activity, why not put on a taster day and take advantage of your local funding, you can contact us if you require any further information or you can chat to a committee member at the AGM on the quiz night, and we will see if we can help.
Finally, I am looking to run a taster day on crown green bowls and I will need all the bowlers I can get on the day to help anyone who will be trying this for the first time, more details are to follow once I have a date.
