What is the scheme?
It is difficult for the Area Association to organise events that appeal to all of its members. So to ensure that all members can benefit from the money the Telford Area Association receives, a sum has been set aside to subsidise sports and leisure events that have not been organised by the Association.
Your minimum spend must be £20 and you can claim £10 back twice in a calendar year (one Jan–Jun & one July-Dec). Please note that the scheme will be reviewed by the committee and should the sum set aside be reached they reserve the right to withdraw the offer.
What can I do?
You can do anything you would like. Some examples of events are; plays, shows, concerts,evening classes, dancing classes, gym membership, sports lessons, team meals, National Trust membership and much more. Claims for holidays and alcohol are excluded.
How do I claim?
Fill in the subsidy form, attach the receipt and post it to Ernie Hedgecock, Bellview, Shrubbery Road, Ketley Bank, Telford TF20DW.
What happens next?
Allrequests will be checked to ensure that they meet the criteria (inc. membership checks). Payments will normally be paid by banktransfer unless the bank account field is left empty in which case you will be paid by cheque. |
