With the Future of CSSC in Telford
The closure of a CSSC club does not mean the end of the local Association. Most of the 102 Associations in the UK run very well without a club base and they all enjoy a wide and varied programme of events such as trips, theatre visits, theme park tickets, sporting season tickets, gym subsidies and grants to enable members to enjoy their own leisure and sporting activities. As well as these local offerings, members can enjoy all the activity provided on a regional and national basis and get grants to do so plus there’s the excellent Countdown Scheme which can literally save you £100s on your shopping bills.
All of our Associations are run by locally elected volunteers. To enable Telford members to enjoy all the benefits that others do, we need to form a new committee. Help and guidance will be available.
