Winners go to York in April

Twenty bowlers fought for the regional title.

This event was held at Solihull Indoor Bowls club on 22 January.

A bumper entry of 10 pairs was received and these were split into two groups of five playing a round robin.

Group A winners were Mike Pritchard and Mark Ireland. Group B winners were Bob Smith (who also organised the tournament) and Jack Warriner.

The final was won by Bob Smith and Jack Warriner who will now be invited to represent the region - all expenses paid - at the CSSC Indoor Bowls National Final in York in April.
