On a bright sunny day and low river levels fishing was always going to be hard.The top four anglers where only separated by 12 ounzes. Kevin Edwards winning catch was made up of small chubb and perch, on waggler and feeder tatics. First time qualifier was Ray Williams who landed the biggest fish of the day a barbel of 3lb and together with small chubb caught on the feeder, Ray qualifies after many years of trying.Midlands stalwart Barry Southall also makes the team at 72 years young his experience will be invaluable.Full team.
