Event Description Fancy exploring the beauty on offer in North/North Eastern France?
CSSC Heathrow Area is organising a coach trip on 25 September – 27 September to Reims/Paris & Lille. This is a national event and is open to members outside London.
Itinerary is as below:-
Day One – Departure from Custom House, Heathrow (time to be notified) for the journey to Folkestone and your tunnel crossing to Calais. Continue to your Hotel in the Reims area for two nights with dinner, bed and breakfast and continental breakfast included. During the journey from Calais, we will make a short break in Arras with its fine old centre. It is one of the prettiest towns in Northern France.
Day Two – We have included a visit to a local Champagne Cellar with a guided tour. Afterwards, we will continue on to Paris. We have arranged a guided tour of Paris, after which you will have free time to explore at leisure before returning to the hotel for your evening meal.
Day Three – We depart for Reims after breakfast and call in for a short break in Lille to visit the main square, Place du Géneral-de-Gualle, better known as the “Grand Place”. There are many lovely historic houses, like the new-Flemish headquarters of local newspaper La Voix du Nord, and a fountain with the statue of a goddess, “La Grande Déesse”, before returning to Calais for the tunnel crossing to Folkestone. We will then continue on to Custom House, Heathrow, arriving during the evening. (Time permitting, we might stop over at Cité Europe for some shopping before we board the shuttle.)

Price: £259 per person based on two passengers sharing a twin room. Single room supplement is £55. The price depends on a minimum of 25 paying passengers. CSSC members will be further subsidised by £100, which means they will be paying only £159. Proof of current membership will be required and checked.

Insurance is from £29.95 per person for passengers up to 66 years of age by the date of booking and £39.95 aged 70 years and over. You may decide to go and book your own insurance.
A deposit payment of £80 per person is required to confirm your booking.
