Event Description The Russian language classes are continuing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings on 4 and 9 November at the Civil Service Recreation Centre, 1 Chadwick Street, Westminster SW1P 2EP as follows:
Tuesday
6.00: continuing beginners (started from scratch on 14 September);
7.00: advanced.
Thursday
5.30: post-beginners*;
7.00: intermediates.
Conversation can continue apres class over a light refreshment in the restaurant/bar, as the mood takes you.
Teaching by established native speaking tutors.
Classes follow an academic year with half-term breaks.
Cost for the six week half-term block of classes to 9 and 14 December inclusive: £50.
*The cost for post-beginners is £60.
Cost of a single (trial) class: £15.
Payment is on arrival on the night in cash or by cheque made payable to the Whitehall Russian Society.
Everyone has two grace admissions to the centre without membership, but thereafter an application for membership of the Civil Service Sports Council or associate membership of the centre, for as little as £35 annually, is required.

Finally, watch out for details of the splendid annual Xmas dinner and dance with live music, dancing and a fully costumed performance of Russian folk dancing. | |
