Event Description

The Modern Ballroom and Latin Xmas Dinner and Dance is a splendid occasion. It is a friendly social dance event. A great hit for several years, it is bound to be so again this year.

It is held on Wednesday 15 December at 6pm in the function room of the Civil Service Recreation Centre, 1 Chadwick Street, Westminster SW1P 2EP


Menu

Three course Xmas dinner

Chicken liver and brandy pate with French bread

Medallion of turkey breast stuffed with chestnut orange and port. Served with seasonal trimmings

Xmas pudding with brandy sauce

Coffee and chocolate mints

A freshly baked baguette is served with the meal, a glass of wine is included and there will be a cash bar

Seasonal novelties and Xmas crackers will be on the table

Alternative menu choices, available at the time of booking are as follows:

Salmon served with diced herb potatoes and green beans
or
Root vegetable, cranberry and goat’s cheese nut roast with winter vegetables

Vanilla cheesecake with cranberry compote

The entertainment programme will include:

A cabaret demonstration by top world competitors Elena Plescenco and Carlos Custodio.

A Ballroom and Latin disco.

Competitions, dancing ice-breakers, games and prizes.

The dress code is smart for men (black tie optional) and ladies can come as glamorous as they like!

All dancers are welcome.
