| Purpose of the role |
The role of the Club Communications Officer is to promote the club to the wider community with a view to widening the communities' awareness of the club, attracting new players and members or even attracting sponsorship.
|

How much time will I need to give?
|
Average of two hours per week |
| Roles and Responsibilities |
- To raise the profile of the association locally and in the CSSC
- Make sure that the associations website and information on the website is kept up to date
- Produce the club's newsletter.
|
| Person specifications |
- Good communications skills.
- Ability to write interesting and informative press releases.
- Good IT skills to make sure quality newsletters and information can be produced.
- Regular access to a computer.
- Regularly attend the club and have a good understanding of all aspects of the clubs programme.

Social Events Organiser |
|
|
The District Groups are currently looking for support from CSSC members to help coordinate anything from sports and leisure activities to outings and excursions. If you have a pastime or hobby that you'd like others to get involved with, we'd love to hear from you. |

• Initiating and planning social events for members and families
• Organising the annual Christmas party for members' families
• Organising monthly quiz night | |

This will be determined by the number of social events. |

It is preferable as the Social Events Organiser if you have an outgoing personality coupled with good organisational and negotiating skills. |
