Civil Service Lawn Tennis Club

If you would like to meet new people in a friendly environment and improve your game on excellent courts in pleasant surroundings, come and join us at the Civil Service Lawn Tennis Club. All standards are welcome.

The CSLTC is open to all serving or retired civil servants to join (as well as to a range of other organisations such as museums, TfL, BT, Royal Mail, Met Police etc).

Facilities

Members play on 4 floodlit hard courts all year round and, from May until September, on six superb grass courts. In terms of membership fees, the Club cannot be beaten. The annual subscription is currently £165 (there is a summer only membership rate too - only £108). Other family members may be eligible to join.

In addition to the ad-hoc social matches throughout the year, there are many different events to be involved in including competitive matches as part of the Middlesex League and Cup competitions, club tournaments, social events, plus free group coaching on Saturday afternoons throughout the summer (and once a month the rest of the year, except January). There are occasional mini-tournaments for all standards of tennis player.

New balls are provided every weekend.

Location

The Club is located in London, at the Civil Service Sports Club's (CSSC) Ground, Duke's Meadows, Riverside Drive, Chiswick. It is easily reached by car (3 minutes' drive from Hogarth roundabout on the A4/M4), or train (6 minutes' walk from Barnes Bridge BR Station). Trains run every 15 minutes from Waterloo/Clapham Junction.
