Russell Scott Trophy - Area Association of the Year 2009Suffolk Area Highly Commended

Congratulations to Suffolk Area Association who received a Highly Commended marking in recognition of their commitment to support members irrespective of whether they fall within the Area's catchment.

This AA was at the forefront of CSSC's Extended Boundary Scheme.

Their enthusiasm for the concept helped cement its acceptance and introduction. In recognition they were awarded the 2004 Russell Scott Trophy.

Since then the AA has continued to be amongst the CSSC's leading AAs. During 2009 this AA offered an impressive array of social activities. It prides itself on a proactive approach and at the end of 2009 it already had 26 events planned for 2010.

The AA are keen advocates of liaison and networking and work closely with surrounding AAs by exchanging ideas and circulating their newsletter to other AAs. In addition they will advertise other AA events to their membership and welcome members from outside of their catchment to their offers and events.

Their network of office contacts is encouraged to recruit new members.
