| Interest in Sea Angling? Did you know that CSSC South Essex has an affiliated Sea Angling Club that enjoys Grant Aid in order to support the sport in the South Essex Area? Historically, the Club is called ACES because of its early days when it catered for the Anglers of Customs & Excise. Nowadays, it caters for all full and associate members of CSSC Sports & Leisure. The Club has active boat and shore anglers. Trips are organized not only locally on the Thames and Crouch but also to more distant venues such as Dover, Brighton and Weymouth. In the past, the Club has journeyed to Ireland, Wales, The Channel Islands and Norway.
