Event Description Christmas Dinner at Blickling Hall, Norfolk
Blickling has been at the heart of the north Norfolk community since the seventeenth century. As one of the most imposing and majestic stately homes in Norfolk, it offers you a glimpse into what it was like to live in a country house throughout four centuries.
The estate is a treasure trove of romantic buildings, beautiful and extensive gardens and landscaped park. From herbaceous formal gardens to the stunning parterre and woodland wilderness, there is something for everyone at any time of the year.
A 3-course Christmas Dinner will be served in the Hobart Restaurant at 12pm. Visitors will have access to gardens, shop & bookshop.

Leave Trumpington Park and Ride at 9.30am and then we’ll be returning from Blickling Hall at 4pm.

Starters
Homemade Vegetable Soup
Made with fresh local vegetables and finished with cream.
Served with a warn roll and butter.
Seafood Cocktail
A medley of seafood topped with a Marie rosé sauce
Accompanied with brown bread and butter.
Chicken Liver Pate
A smooth pate served with a salad garnish and melba toast.
Main Course
Roast Norfolk Turkey
Turkey breast stuffed with chestnut stuffing,
wrapped in bacon and coated with a rich red wine gravy.
Vegetable Wellington
Seasonal root vegetables combined with red lentils
wrapped in filo pastry and accompanied with a mushroom sauce.
Salmon Steak
Organic salmon poached in a white wine and cream sauce.
Desserts
Chocolate & Orange Mousse
A delicious homemade mousse
presented in a small cup garnished with a swirl of whipped cream.
Christmas pudding
A rich fruit pudding made to a traditional recipe
Coated with a creamy brandy sauce.
Raspberry Pavalova
A glass filled with meringue, raspberries and fresh cream.
English Cheeses
Locally supplied cheeses with biscuits and celery.
