| The Open and Veterans Badminton Championships were held on 12 and 13 February 2010. The purpose built High Wycombe Badminton Centre hosted the tournament. Two very busy days of competition were held and played with great enthusiasm and in great spirit. Daniel Eghan returned to successfully defend the titles that he won last year. Marian Holmes, Chief Executive of CSSC, attended on the first day to present the trophies. Marian also made a special presentation of a large bouguet of flowers to Marguerite Butt who was retiring from her role as a Badminton organiser. Marguerite also received a card full of good wishes from the players. The Ernie Hill trophy was presented to Pierre Cruse for his all round good sportsmanship.
