CSSC Games 2007, Rugby 7s Review
| CSSC was once again pleased to include Rugby 7s within the 2007 Games; staging the competition at the local Loughborough Rugby Club. A slightly lower entry was received than in 2005, but that didn't spoil the enjoyment of all concerned. The ten team entry was split into two groups with the winners and runners up of each group going through to the Cup and Plate competition. In the semi-final for the Cup, HMRC1 were victorious over GCHQ and HASSRA Leeds beat HASSRA Wales. This led to a tightly contested final between HMRC1 and HASSRA Leeds, with HMRC1 eventually winning through 15 points to 12. The semi-final for the Plate was contested by DSRA and HASSRA Fylde and HMRC2 and Land Registry. This resulted in a final between Land Registry and DSRA which saw DSRA storming to victory by 31 points to 0. For final standings see the the link to the right of this page. |
