| Congratulations must go to the Civil Service Philatelic Society on their imminent 60th Anniversary. Since their foundation in 1948, the society has aimed to stimulate the collection of postage stamps, postcards and postal history and continues to grow into the 21st Century. Current Honorary Secretary, Margaret Emerson, is delighted that the society continues to stride forward after so many years. She said. "Reaching our 60th Anniversary is a great achievement and as a Society we hope to continue for many years to come." The Society caters for all levels of expertise from specialists and general collectors to beginners. Regular meetings are held on the first working Monday of the month, in one of the conference rooms in Somerset House (London), but colleagues away from the capital can easily join the network of enthusiasts.
