A Very Satisfied CSSC Member!

Paul Richards of Bootle is one very satisfied CSSC member! His lost wallet was recently traced back to him by his CSSC membership card which had been left inside it.

A couple of weeks ago, Paul Richards left his wallet in a taxi on the way to a snooker competition. He thought he would never see it again but, to his surprise, he received a call from CSSC's Customer Service department asking if he had recently lost his CSSC membership card. The police had found the card and emailed CSSC asking if we could trace the member. Our Customer Services manager then phoned Mr Richards and informed him that his card had been found, along with his (sadly) empty wallet. Anyway, Paul was happily re-united with his wallet and CSSC membership card and is very grateful that CSSC had gone to the trouble of tracking him down.

Of course the important thing about Paul's story is that he had a valid membership card and that CSSC held up to date contact details for him. Each year, CSSC sends annual membership cards to all members for whom a home address is held and cards valid until January 2010 are about to be issued in time for delivery by the end of this January. However, there are thousands of members for whom a home address isn't held. This means these members don't receive their membership card, Countdown Members' Offers pack or their copies of CSSC's Leisure Scene magazine. If you don't get these items or you know a member that doesn't, bring your details up to date by contacting CSSC's Customer Service Department on 01494 888 444 or via email at headoffice@cssc.co.uk or, better still, update your details online
