"Just a short note on how much we as a family enjoyed the 'Family Fun Weekend' at Haggerston Castle, Berwick.
My wife and I plus our 2 kids, Scott and Mhari, joined another couple of our friends to make up the formidable 'Athletico KAR'.
Arriving on Friday evening we booked into our excellent 3 bed caravan, unpacked and later on joined up with a few volunteers to indulge in a few beverages before obviously returning to bed early for the big days event on the Saturday.
The day itself went really well. It was organised to a high standard and with the conditions outside being wet, the change to move inside suited all.
After the games had finished the quiz started (Aw Whitt). Unfortunately, finishing 4th and without prizes was sore, especially for what I thought was the best team there.
My 9 year old daughter Mhari joined in the kids games which, to her delight, handed out prizes to all.
Another highlight of the weekend was when we watched the Scots winning the rugby - quality! We all then happily drank the night away.
In closing...what a weekend, it's all a credit to CSSC. Keep up the great work, and we will be back next year, this time to win."
