DiverSE'11 - an event for all divers
BSAC South East region in association with London and Southern regions proudly presents our sixth annual conference - DiverSE'11
The event will be at the excellent venue of University of Surrey, Guildford on Sunday 13 March 2011. Exhibition opens 8:30, presentations commence 9:30.
Once again we have a great free prize draw, we will be announcing some great prizes in the coming weeks.
The event combines a diverse array of top notch speakers, many of which will be giving, never seen before talks on array of subjects which will appeal to anyone no matter what your background, level or agency, be it PADI Open Water or BSAC National Instructor.
Top technical instructor Jack Ingle will be giving a brand new presentation on his exploits exploring the vast array of wrecks in the waters of Malta including the former cruise liner turned hospital ship Le Polynesian.
Top photo journalist Simon Brown will be telling of his experiences recording the incredible work of a crack military underwater search team.
Ice diving instructor Sarah Conner will be recounting some of her amazing adventures diving in the frozen lakes of Europe.
The expert photographers from the Cameras Underwater team will be giving some top tips for underwater photographers from beginner to expert to help you get that perfect picture.
Heather Ruxton from the Plastic Oceans Project will be talking about her work with turtles.
More great speakers will be announced soon.
The day offers an opportunity to catch up with old diving friends while you explore the exhibition. A 'brown bag' lunch is available by pre-booking for £6.
