| Retention of CSSC membership on leaving and retirement If you are leaving your employment and are in receipt of your pension you can continue your membership of CSSC with the option to subscribe monthly if available through your pension. However there are some pension providers who are unable to offer this and if you are unsure please contact head office on 01494 888444 for confirmation. If you are unable to pay via your pension monthly then you can pay annually via cheque, postal orders or set up an annual direct debit via your bank. You will be required to complete the direct debit mandate which can be found on the CSSC membership application form available on our website www.cssc.co.uk or from head office who, will be happy to either post or email it to you. Please note that those in receipt of pension receive 10% discount off the full rate either monthly or annually. Our current rates are also available on our website or by contacting head office. Those employees of qualifying departments who are now in receipt of their pension are eligible to rejoin or commence membership of CSSC at any time. If you are leaving your department and are currently a CSSC member but not in receipt of your pension you are eligible to maintain your membership by setting up an annual method of payment. This can be done either via cheque, postal order or annual direct debit through your bank, the full annual fee will apply. Please note CSSC now offers a period of 12 months to enable you to re-instate your membership. The above is a general guide and may not answer individual requirements. If you have any queries regarding membership or retention of membership of CSSC please do not hesitate to contact the Customers Services Team on 01494 888444 who will be pleased to advise.
