Calum Smith works for Defence Estates in Rosyth, but when he leaves his job at 5pm he turns to his love in life Football. Calum currently plays for Forfar Athletic who have recently been promoted to the Scottish Second Division.
I was 6-years-old when I started to play football with a club and 9-years-old when I first started training with Dunfermline. From that I was brought through the Dunfermline Athletic Youth set up and finally making my first team debut against Ayr United in the CIS cup and scoring a penalty in the shootout. I then made my SPL debut against Aberdeen.
I left Dunfermline and joined Brechin City scoring 11 goals for the club in 10 Games. I then moved to Forfar and have been with them for 2 years now. We won promotion to the 2nd Division this year and I look forward to playing next year.
I have met so many people through football and played against some amazing players and at only 22 I may yet get another chance at full time football in the future.
