Member Completes GB Pentathlon National Biathle!

Barbara Holmes, who recently applied for the CSSC Triathlon subsidy scheme, completed the GB Pentathlon National Biathle and won the Gold in the Women's Masters (B) and also qualified for the World Championships in Dubai!

Married mum of two, Barbara, 50, has recently returned to competitive swimming, and following some success, found courage to enter Biathlons and Triathlons.

The Biathle at Salford Quays, which took place on Sunday 8 August, is the qualifier event for the World Championships to be held in Dubai Saturday 30 October 2010.

Biathle is a worldwide sport consisting of a continuous run, open water swim, and run. Similar to Biathlon but there is no stopping between the runs and swim.
