Midlands 9 Ball Pool 2010

This is now the sixth year of running this competition. It was as ever an enjoyable day for everyone who took part. There were some great games played through out the day in both singles and doubles. Uniquely this year most of the better players made it through to the later rounds in the singles. Last years winner Michael Ashton played two exceptionally good shots to knock out Phil Connolly at the semi final stage. The day however belonged to Bash Maqsood who achieved the double, winning the singles and the doubles with Duncan Hales.

In the plate events Adrian Nicholson retained the plate singles trophy. And Jason Pantling and John Moore beat Smith and Baylis in the plate doubles final, getting their names on the trophy for the first time.
