Three2Go till London Olympics 2012

I am helping to organise an event called Three2Go and I am hoping to get some civil service colleagues involved.

The Two2Go race series has been inspired by the annual countdown to the 2012 Games and the promise of cultural and sporting opportunities for all. It will take place close to the actual 2012 Olympic site on Hackney Marshes.

On 12 September there will be a 5K, 1K and trail marathon race. The 5K and 1K are open for anyone to take part in. A particular focus for the 5K this year is Fit@50+ and Cabbies on the Run.

Our website has a nine week fitness programme to motivate runners with little or no running experience.

The launch event for Three2Go takes place on July 11 at Toynbee Hall in London (E1 6LS) where we will be giving out free advice, training programmes and gait analysis.

Not interested in running but would like to volunteer on the day? We need 100 marshals to man water stations, shout encouragement, point runners in right direction, etc. We are currently applying for volunteer accreditation from the Olympic Committee so volunteers can also help marshal in 2012!
