Famous for its outrageous architecture, abundance of art galleries, colourful street markets and weeklong fiestas, the stunning city of Barcelona never fails to satisfy. Whether you are a culture vulture, a shopaholic, a party animal or simply in search of some Mediterranean sun you are in your element in Barcelona.

The city’s skyline is dominated by the impressive Gothic cathedral and the magnificent art-nouveau masterpieces of the eccentric genius and Barcelona’s favourite son, Antoni Gaudí. The endless pedestrian promenade of Las Ramblas is the backbone of Barcelona. Lined with captivating pavement cafés and stylish boutiques, the street is full of peculiar and eccentric characters, from fascinating street performers to exuberant market traders. The romantic Gothic quarter with its narrow winding streets is a visual delight, brimming with atmospheric tapas bars and traditional restaurants serving the finest in Catalan cuisine.
